Fuller Eyeliner with Flick

Quick answer

Fuller eyeliner with a flick, sometimes called latino eyeliner, builds a bolder defined line with the option of a soft smoky finish and a flick at the outer corner. Because the look is bolder and not suited to everyone, the flick is drawn on and shown to you before treatment begins.

What is fuller eyeliner with a flick?

Also known as latino eyeliner, this treatment can be applied with a choice of a slight colour or a fuller look, giving eyes a defined appearance. A soft, smoky finish to the liner can also be created alongside a defined flick at the outer corner.

The flick itself can be kept subtle or drawn with more lift, depending on your natural eye shape and the look you are going for, and it is always agreed with you before treatment rather than applied as a single fixed style.

Who suits fuller eyeliner with a flick?

This look is not suitable for everyone, and it is discussed fully with you during your consultation. It suits clients who already enjoy a bolder, more dramatic eye makeup look and want that definition without applying it daily.

  • Wanting a bolder, more defined eyeliner look
  • Already comfortable with a flick or smoky liner in daily makeup
  • Wanting the option of a soft smoky finish as well as a line
  • Happy to review and approve the flick before treatment

What to expect from your appointment

The eyeliner and flick are drawn onto your eye before treatment for you to approve. You can decide whether to continue with treatment once you have seen the effect, and the area is numbed with a pre-numbing cream throughout.

Because the flick is the most visible part of this design, extra time is taken to check it looks even on both eyes while you are sitting upright, since the angle can look different lying down during treatment.

Healing and aftercare

As with our other eyeliner treatments, some redness, swelling and tenderness is normal for the first few days, along with lashes sticking together and mild dryness or itching as the area heals.

For around two weeks, avoid contact lenses, eye makeup, swimming, sunbeds, direct sun and any lash or brow treatments close to the enhancement, and use the aftercare balm provided.

A control appointment is generally included within the first few months, to refine the line and flick once your eyes have fully healed.

Frequently asked questions

Yes, the eyeliner and flick are always drawn on first so you can see the shape and decide whether to go ahead. You are never committed to a look you have not approved.

Not for everyone; because it is a bolder look, it is discussed fully at your consultation to check it suits your eye shape and preferences before any pigment is applied.

Results are semi-permanent and typically fade gradually over roughly one to three years, depending on your skin type and lifestyle, with a control or top-up appointment recommended to keep the line and flick crisp.

Yes, the depth of colour and the length of the flick are both adjustable, so the look can be kept fairly understated or made bolder, whichever you prefer once you have seen it drawn on.

Matching the flick on both sides is checked carefully while you are sitting upright before treatment is finished, since faces are rarely perfectly symmetrical and small adjustments help both eyes look balanced.
